I couldn’t write anything new so I copied one paragraph to begin.

“Discipline allows magic. To be a writer is to be the very best of assassins. You do not sit down and write every day to force the Muse to show up. You get into the habit of writing every day so that when she shows up, you have the maximum chance of catching her, bashing her on the head, and squeezing every last drop out of that bitch.”  ― Lili St. Crow

Yeah, inspiration is a bitch. Now, in order to get back into my grooves, I’ll talk about random things. Like I just saw the latest activation Dove came up with it. They gave everyone a beauty patch and told women to keep a video journal, women came back after a few weeks and they said that beauty patch made them more beautiful, confident and positive. And they were very curious about what the beauty patch was made of. And if you haven’t guessed it already, it was a plain patch. Women cried realising that all this while they had all that they needed to be happy. Beauty is a state of mind.

So is a writer’s block (Thank god I found a connection between the first and third paragraph, and my random realisation still makes sense). The challenge however, is to keep this state of mind intact. Writing without inhibition, writing without a reason, and writing without too much thinking is what makes up for a happy writer. So, write that half-cooked story based on that not so interesting conversation you had with a not-so-funny acquaintance. Try your best to make it interesting. We’ll understand. But write.
